sxd

sxd is an rc.d init script I made for Arch Linux that triggers startx as a specified user (it purposefully fails if they try to use root though). I thought this would be somewhat useful to other users, so I released it.

It will be available soon through through the AUR.

No more xscreensaver

So, I’ve always wanted to get rid of that hideous logo that appears on my screen when I go to unlock my computer when using xscreensaver.  Well, until I got a new (well, used, it’s a hand-me-down from my father) netbook and put my favorite Linux distribution on it, I never bothered figuring out how to change it.  Read more
